Is the site accessible?
The TT Cinema is located at the rear of TT Liquor. To get the cinema room, there is a short flight of stairs, which is slightly narrow. In addition, there is not a suitable spot within the cinema room to watch from a wheelchair - it is likely to be necessary to transition to a cinema seat. If you are a wheelchair-user who wishes to attend, please contact us, the organisers and we will work with you and the venue to overcome these challenges as best we can.
Are there any age restrictions?
Yes: sorry, over-18s only!
Not only do we discuss 18-certificate films, and show clips from them, but the double-bill may also include 18-certificate movies - and the venue is reached through a licensed bar.
What does the ticket cover? Can I buy a ticket to just one part of the symposium?
All tickets cover the full Symposium. There is no option to purchase a ticket to part of the event (e.g. just the lectures or just the films.)
Will there be time to grab food?
We will be having three short breaks: one in the middle of all the lectures, one in between the lectures and the double bill, and one between the two films. We will announce the length of each break as it begins; you should have time to grab food or a drink at each point.
